Sony
The Sony Open is the first PGA Tour golf event of the year, and Sony Sports Marketing asked us to create a unique identity that would be used on all promotional materials for their inaugural event.
They wanted a compelling design that would honor the unique cultures of Japan and the US, while remaining true to Sony’s corporate image and global brand.
Working hand-in-hand with Sony, Artisan Creative managed the entire project from concept to production.
One of the premiere fashion designers in the industry, BCBG Max Azria, entrusted Artisan Creative with the production of their very first direct mail catalog.
We were involved from the start in all phases of this tightly scheduled project. We worked closely with their many in-house departments to ensure that the right project pagination and the correct look and design was achieved.
Artisan’s copywriter was on hand during photo shoots to make sure there was a perfect match between picture and text. We then coordinated the art direction, high-resolution image placement, and final mechanicals. At the same time, we were responsible for all scheduling, development and implementation.
Mattel chose Artisan Creative to assemble a team to develop a board game based on the best seller “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus”.
We provided a creative director and an art director to conceive and manage the project, and an illustrator and a copywriter to help them develop and pitch concepts to Mattel.
Once a concept was approved, another copywriter was added to the mix to work directly with the author of the book to generate and edit game questions. While the game was being developed, Artisan brought a packaging team together to design and illustrate the box.
After the successful completion and launch of the game, some of the Artisan artists who worked on this project accepted full-time jobs at Mattel.
Micronet had developed a new personal storage area network using Firewire technology for high bandwidth users and small workgroups.
In order to ensure a successful launch, MicroNet needed to complete a high-caliber housing design for the SANcube and have it ready for their biggest trade show of the year - Macworld. But the big event was only 6 weeks away!
Artisan put together the industrial design team that successfully met the SANcube challenge, on time and under budget. The best part for everyone involved was when the SANcube was chosen as a winner of the prestigious Macworld Best of Show Award.
